Lana Lang is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character has traditionally been Superman's romantic interest when they were teenagers in Smallville, Kansas.

Scott Lang was born and raised in Coral Gables, Florida, the son of Bob Lang. He later became an electronic engineer and met and married Peggy Rae. Together they had a daughter Cassandra "Cassie" Lang.

After putting her feelings for Clark behind her, Lana got together with Pete Ross, another childhood friend from Smallville. The two got married in Action Comics #700 and gave birth to a baby boy in Superman: The Doomsday Wars.

When Lana decides to call-off her wedding to stay with Clark, Lionel forces her to marry Lex.

The new take charge Clark Kent, who was fearless and bold, became very attractive to Lois Lane—proving that it was more about attitude and personality than superpowers that attracted her to Superman. Lois and the new Clark began dating, fell in love and eventually, he proposed the couple got married.

With original Cassie Lang actress Fortson being too young to play the aged-up version of Scott Lang's daughter after Avengers: Endgame's 5-year time jump, as the actress was only 12 at the time, the role had to be recast.

Lang Lang and Gina confirmed that they welcomed a baby boy named Winston in October 2021. At the time, Lang Lang shared a photo of the baby's hand on social media, writing: “Gina and I are delighted to announce the birth of our baby boy. Welcome to the world.”

Cassie was born to Scott and Maggie Lang and shortly afterwards Scott was arrested for breaking into the Vistacorp CEO's house in an attempt to return money the company had stolen to its customers.
