For nearly ten years Piquant! has been creating a unique sound in the North Country of New York. Piquant!'s music evokes a "Bistro" atmosphere with spicy flavors from Latin dance styles such as the Tango, Rumba, Waltz, Cha-cha and Samba. The band also explores the sweet tones of French Musette and adds a touch of swing.
Piquant! is the house band for the popular dance series, Tango withTodd. The love of playing for dancers continues to inspire Piquant! To add many original dance tunes to their repertoire which keeps their music spontaneous and fun!
Piquant! has performed for the summer concert series' in Sackets Harbor, Massena, Waddington, and Saranac Lake, NY, as well as First Night in Saranac Lake and the Norwood Village Green Summer Concert Series.
