Sunday, June 13 DELIA - Based in the Adirondack Mountains of Northern New York, John Kribs, Scott Greene and Gwen Tracy formed the band that takes its name from the classic Blues tune of that same name. The trio occassionally adds drums to the trio and rocks out. This is one of those ocassions. Thursday, June 17 DOWNCHILD - "There would be no Blues Brothers if it weren’t for Downchild" – Dan Aykroyd When one thinks of Blues music in Canada, the first band that springs to mind is Downchild. the inspiration behind the famed Blues Brothers and the training school for Blues superstars. The most awarded Blues band in Canada celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2009 by touring Canada’s major concert halls in sold out performances with a stellar cast of guests including Dan Akroyd, James Cotton, Colin Linden, Colin James and Wayne Jackson.
